plainly gross post: a woman pooping at a bus stop

Tell me, why the hell would someone poop in a public bus stop? Hasn't anyone (perhaps her mother or father or atleast her teacher) ever taught this woman that this act is done in a private sanctuary or for what most of us call-- the toilet? I almost puked when I accidentally came across this video. It's as if she's used to doing this. I wonder...how many bust stops had she left her poop at? eeew.

***Please do not watch if you are having meals or if your tummy is not as strong as your triceps. Parental guidance is advised (to avoid another bus-stop-pooping person) lol***

Biscoff biscuits, anyone?

While I was finding a locally available alternative for Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered mini pretzels in Rustan's Makati (and failed to.), I was able to browse through the shelves of Healthy Options and why, surprise! surprise! I found mi favorito biscuit, Biscoff caramelised biscuits! Spell yehey! Sold for P249.++, I was so overwhelmed and got myself 2 packs! I wonder if they have it regularly (i hope so) so I know where to run to have my fix of Biscoff biscuits. These 2 packs will probably last around a week or less so I should be back to Healthy Options by next week. I admit, I was hopeful too that the spreads will be there but unfortunately, not. But still very happy cos I am addicted to these biscuits' aroma and texture that I wish I can eat 2 biscuits in the morning and 2 at night, everyday! Head on to Healthy Options Rustan's Makati now and may the best fan get the most biscoff biscuits available.

joining the biscoff bandwagon

It took me months before I was able to join this craze called speculoos spread. Having no relatives in the US, (errr I do have pala, my dad's sister is in Florida along with one of his niece and the other tita is in Austria where speculoos really originated.) but we are separated by gap so kapal the fez if I ask for spreads from them lols! Anyways, I got mine from an Instagram seller @sweetnsome, waiting time was just a few weeks unlike in other sellers which will take you month(s). Price is the same as other sellers which is P350, though I'm not sure if it increased or what. I still find ALL local sellers abusive since in the US these jars cost only less than $10 for both original (creamy) and crunchy. But what can juan do??? Juan who doesn't have any joe relatives lols! But maybe the duties and taxes are responsible for the steep price since Philippines put taxes on everything under the sun! Anyhow here are my caramelised biscuit spread a.k.a biscoff spread and caramelised biscuit from Lotus Bakeries in Belgium

The jar wasn't full up to the brim when I opened it and I had to mix it because oil accumulated on top. I was really impressed how creamy this spread is, it was like mixing in the air! *clap clap clap*

The oil must have separated from the spread due to extreme heat in Manila. After doing a few mix, the spread is unbelievably light you can easily dig to the bottom and scoop big without exerting any effort as in! you can use your pinky fingers, I swear!

I had to try it first with a banana since I am in denial and I try to be health/diet-conscious

Funny because it tasted like banoffee pie! lols! I also tried it with the biscuit though I thought it might be too sweet I was surprised to find out it's still good!

I'm a fan now. I will still be trying Trader Joe's original and crunchy and the crunchy version of Lotus!

macarons: tous les jours

This will be my first french / parisian macarons post (though I have already tried French Baker, Bizu, Chez Karine, etc) because I only thought of posting about these yummy delights just now, waaaay too late. Though medyo in-favor sa akin because I get to have another reason to buy and eat macarons!

Tous les Jours have 5 (five) flavor assortments of french macarons-

chocolate

 vanilla

mango

strawberry

green tea

The texture was perfect but I find the flavors lacking and very plain, it was like I was eating plain-flavored macarons! Though pwede na rin to satisfy the palate, I am after the texture naman talaga why I love eating macarons!

tastecentral and my wasabi kitkat

I wasn't home when my Kitkats arrived and I only get to open the box the following day. I was all smiles to see a box of 12 wasabi Kitkats than a box of three. :))) And a letter attached to the receipt explained why:

Aww such a sweet gesture to make up to their mishmash! Very impressive customer service!
